Some of the molecules used to treat some diseases and other uses are as follow (Provigil for sleep disorders such as Sleep Apnea (a physical breathing blockage of airways) to use by Military Pilots of the USA and Europe to enable them to fly more missions with less sleep.

Abilify is another interesting molecule with use for depression and other psychiatric conditions.

Risperdal is a pharmaceutical chemical used for treatment of all sorts of conditions such as for intrusive thoughts, etc,.

There are many antidepressants some occur in nature like St. John's Wort. Other Antidepressants are Prozac (it contains a fluorine atom), Celexa, Lexapro, Welbutrin (Budeprion), etc. There are older drugs to treat depression and chronic severe pain such as Desipramine( it is a tricyclic antidepressant.)

For treatment of high cholesterol (to lower it) there are many drugs and some also are used to treat high triglycerides and high cholesterol like Lopid.

Some of these drugs are either separated, purified to have them in enantiomericaly pure forms (ee) such as Lexapro, and a form of Provigal is available; but there is also medicine for Insulin too like this.

There are many proton pump inhibitors which reduce stomach acid secretion in different ways such as Prilosec and it's pure ee form Nexium (Esomeprazole magnnesium), to Kapidex (Dexlansoprazole), etc.

Naturally occuring sleep molecules can be found in the Hop's plant Lupus Humulus, (Freshops.com in Oregon sells the living rhizomes if you want to procure one or some to grow.) Coffee of course contains Caffine as does Tea (Camellia sinensis) which has beautiful green leaves with small white petal flowers and yellow stamins inside. It is fragrant and sweet with a sweet nectar inside the flowers. The Coffee plant coffee beans produce not just Caffine; but drugs used in Medicine as well for the heart, etc.(Merck Index, 12th ed.)

There are many synthetic steriods in use today to help people breathe better through their noses as well as breathing in general for asthma. For example Fluticasone Propionate, Beconase are two such drugs applied by mist or spray.

The common birth control pill molecules come largely from naturally occuring from the giant Mexican Yam. (It has a steroid structure to it.) Some Women take synthetic steroids to have better control over their menses cycles (periods) (hvse em enokketv)

There are drugs made to decrease the "passage of wind" (Farts) (hokcetv) such as the chemical "Beano."

For pain relief in medicine Morphine is used derived from the opium poppy as well as codeine and heroin. In the oppium poppy there are also molecules which contain addicting extreme pain causing effects from headaches, etc. such that it is important to have good chemical separation of all the molecules in the opium poppy seed pod which forms after the flower has developed.

Another pain reducing (numbing) molecule used in medicine and dentistry is cocaine which is from the coca plant.

For Chronic Severe Pain and Sleep Gabapentin ( Neurontin) has been used; but it does have a side effect of causing weight gain.) Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid)(ekv-nokke-heleswv) has a very similar molecule existing in nature (plants) such as in the Willow bark.Akwahnv, akwanv (Willow.) They reduce inflamation, thin the blood (anticoagulant) and reduce pain. Aspirin has been used to treat some forms of arthritis. It is one of the most widely used drugs in the world.

Chamomile, the plant's flowers contain molecules which calm and relax people. In higher concentrations of the flowers mixed with hot water reduces pain and makes one sleepy.

Cancer (lekwe-papv)

For Cook knives I prefer the Shun Knives made in Japan. They hold their edge well and come in left-handed and right-handed (handles) forms. Of course there are other excellent knives made with super stainless steels too. A good "honing steel" is needed to maintain the edge of cooking knives. If a knife edge is honed; then it will not need to be sharpened as often to keep it sharp. Sharpening removes some of the metal each time; honing the blade does not remove the metal. It realigns the blade such that it is true not with tiny bends.
